Nevada Solar Living (NSL) was created to provide information about solar power and other forms of renewable energy.
The main benefits of solar power and renewable energy is:
- Lower utility bills
- Less stress on the environment - lessoning the effects of global warming.
- Saves you money in the long run!!!
Nevada is home to lots of sunshine, so why not put it to good use. Solar Power has been in use for quite some time now. You may have seen it used for signs on deserted hi-ways, or billboards. Along with powering your home, the power of the sun can also be used to heat your house in the form of Passive Solar Heating. The sun can even be used to cool your home in the summer with Passive Solar Cooling.
The best part about solar energy is it's free, it is always available, and it does not pollute the earth. Along with solar power we will also discuss other forms of renewable energy, as well as energy conservation.
Browse Nevada Solar Living to find out all the ways Solar Power can make your life in the desert more liveable as well as saving you money on your utility bills. |

I see all these experimental ideas being tested in hopes of reducing global warming. Some look promising until you see the timeline to implement them, some 20-30 years.
So what is the answer?…well it is hard to say. I think it is Solar Power. Most would say I cannot afford to spend that kind of money to offset my power needs.
